Howdy.

I came to New York from Texas almost 25 years ago with a portfolio and insufficiently-insulated winter coat, looking to start my advertising career. I landed a job at Ogilvy New York as an assistant art director working on IBM. After spending several years working across many different parts of the IBM business, I’ve created global campaigns and led integrated teams on a wide variety of brands — from B2B to B2C, from software to soft drinks. And I’ve learned to enjoy not just coming up with ads, but solving big platforms for complex brands.

Along the way, my work has been recognized by The One Show, Effies, Art Directors Club, Cannes, ANDYs, ADDYs, AICP, Clios and Caples, as well as being featured in Communication Arts, Adweek, Creativity and other publications.

I grew up in The Lone Star State and received my advertising degree from The University of Texas in Austin before moving here with my twin brother (yes, he is also a creative director). I expected to stay in NYC “for a year or so” but never left. I happily live in Manhattan with my wife and two young boys.
